Islands of an area of 8249 square kilometers are in the Bay of Bengal. Port
Blair is the capital of the island group and it is a union territory of India.
It is home to about one
thousand types of plants and two hundred types of animals. There are many beautiful
beaches, forests and natural attractions that attract people.
Radhanagar
Beach:
Radhanagar beach is one
of the major tourist destinations of Andaman Islands. Here you can enjoy
swimming and beautiful views of the beach.
You can also have your
favorite food and drinks here as there are many restaurants and bars. The beach
is a good place to watch the sunset, where you can enjoy both the beach and the
beautiful views.
Chidiya
Tapu Beach
Chidiya Tapu: It is a
beautiful place 22.5 km from Port Blair airport. This place is best for
watching the sunset as it attracts a lot of locals and tourists.
Bird Island is divided
into four attractions:
Munda Mountains Beach:
Clear blue water creates white sand and crystals.
Chidiya Tapu Biological
Park, established in 2001, is a park of 40 hectares. Many endemic and
endangered fauna can be found in the park. Wild boar, spotted deer and barking
deer can also be seen roaming the forest.

Days Opened: Open from
Tuesday to Sunday, but closed on Mondays.
Sunset
Point:
The best part of a
visit to Chidiya Tapu is the sunset and there is a special place called
“Sunrise Place”.
Barren
island
The only active volcano
in the Indian subcontinent. This area is restricted which requires special
permission to enter. There is no tree on this island.
Elephant
beach
This beach is famous
for water activities. Snorkeling, para sailing, disco ride and banana ride are
also available. The beach is open until 3 in the morning. for the people
There are two ways to
reach this beach: one can go by boat or trek from Radha Nagar beach.
Bharatpur
Beach
It is one of the best
natural beaches in Andaman. The water is amazing and the beach is spotless.This
beach will delight you with corals and marine life. Water sports are available
here depending on the weather and wind. Here they only accept cash, so be sure
to bring cash with you.
Viper
Island
Viper Island, a small
island in Port Blair, was once a British prison, where political prisoners and
convicts were kept.
